Dear Parents-
The sun and warmer temps have made me hopeful that spring is finally here to stay. I am anxious to get some projects done around the sight and see our students enjoying the fresh air again!
This weekend we celebrate Palm Sunday and relive the moment that Jesus arrived in Jerusalem like a king. We all know that just days later he was arrested and sentenced to death. How quickly life can change. One minute you are riding high, and the next… well, you know. It is a perfect opportunity to remind us that the only constant in life is God.
Our faith is an anchor in this otherwise crazy and unpredictable world. Catholic education is a vehicle for transferring that faith to the next generation. A Catholic education teaches children that their faith is a steady compass. The strength of this education lies in its ability to connect children to the one true constant—God—who is unchanging in a world that is constantly shifting. Catholic schools offer more than just academic knowledge; they provide the spiritual and moral framework that help children navigate a complex and sometimes overwhelming world, all while relying on the steady, unwavering love and guidance of God. What a gift for your child and the world! Thank you for your commitment to this. As a mother and grandmother, I assure you that the challenges are worth the outcomes.
Thank you to all who have completed registration for the 2025-2026 school year. Our first round of financial aid letters will come home at the end of April. If you applied for aid, but have not registered, I cannot send you a letter. Reach out to Allie Luckow if this is your situation. If you missed the financial aid deadline, you could apply now for the second round. Visit TADS at https://www.mytads.com/ to apply.
For the next two days, Mrs. Pemrick and I will be spending time at Notre Dame Academy in Minnetonka where we will be part of a Lumen Accreditation Team. This organization is the one chosen by our Archdiocese to accredit our Catholic Schools. It will be a great learning experience for us, as we are scheduled for our visit next spring.
We are in the active planning stages for next year. Please keep our school in your prayers and let us know if there are things you need help with. We look forward to Holy Week next week. Thank you for all you help with our prayer, fasting/abstinence, and almsgiving Lenten goals.
With God, All Things Are Possible!
Mrs. Ashley
