From the Principal's Desk...

Dear Parents-

This first week of 4^th quarter is flying by! We are so thankful for the warm, dry weather that has made it possible to be out on the playground. Students have really enjoyed being outside!

Summer care information came out this week. Please let your child’s teacher know if you did not receive it. We are excited to spend our first summer here. Many summer staff members plan to return to help us. If you intend to utilize the summer option, please register quickly. We will be carefully paying attention to numbers so that we can staff accordingly. Spots are limited and registration will close when we are full.

Thank you to all who have registered for the 2025-2026 school year. This helps with our planning! If you have not registered for the 2025-2026 school year, please get this completed soon. We can not distribute financial aid to students who are not enrolled. You can contact Allie Luckow (aluckow@dmcs.cc) if you are not planning to return, are having a problem with the registration process, or have any questions.

I hope your preparation for Easter is going well. Help your student prepare as well by talking with them about their prayer, fasting/abstinence, and almsgiving goals. We have a few more weeks of Lent to go and there is always opportunities to prepare. Tomorrow we will all join together in the Stations of the Cross (a special prayer remembering Jesus’ journey to Calvary). This will be held at DMCC beginning at 8:15 AM. Join us if you can!

To Note:

There are extra days we have off after Easter in the 2025-2026 School Year Calendar. These are so that the school staff can attend the National Catholic Education Conference which will be held in Minneapolis next year. This is a rare opportunity for our staff and we are excited for the opportunity.
