Dear Parents-
Praise the Lord for the sunshine! It is really helping me overcome the “spring ahead challenge”. I am not sure why, but the change of the clocks each spring hits me hard. It is difficult to adjust. I hope that any rain and snow we receive this weekend melts fast so that our playgrounds can dry out before we return from Spring Break. Remember that winter gear is no longer required after break, but if you have a child who has been finding the mud, you will want to send boots and snowpants, etc. just to be safe!
Thank you for helping our students prepare for Lent through prayer, fasting/abstinence, and almsgiving. If you are helping collect change for Living Water, thank you. These bottles will need to be returned to school by Aprill 17th so that we can process the coins and send the donation to Living Water.
Third quarter ends this Friday, March 14th. Look for report cards to be sent home on Thursday, March 27th.
We are looking forward to our Spring Break. There is no school during the week of March 17-21st. I hope you all enjoy this break and find time to have fun with your families. I pray that the weather is good and all who travel do so safely.
Summer care information is coming out the week of March 24th. We are excited to spend our first summer here. Many summer staff members plan to return to help us. If you intend to utilize the summer option, please register quickly. We will be carefully paying attention to numbers so that we can staff accordingly. Spots are limited and registration will close when we are full.
Thank you to all who have registered for the 2025-2026 school year. This helps with our planning! If you have not registered for the 2025-2026 school year, please get this completed soon. We cannot offer financial assistance to anyone who is not registered. We meet to begin financial aid decisions on March 25th. You can contact Allie Luckow (aluckow@dmcs.cc) if you are not planning to return, are having a problem with the registration process, or have any questions.
Enjoy your Spring Break!
With God, All Things Are Possible!
